Peras Sports Club: Celebrating 140 years of history with a three-day swimming competition

The Peras Sports Club is celebrating its 140th anniversary by organizing international swimming competitions involving a large contingent of participants, totaling 70 clubs from Greece, Cyprus, and across Europe. Scheduled to be held from March 20 to 22, 2026, the event will take place at the Olympic Athletic Center of Athens (OAKA), specifically in the indoor swimming pool. The event under the title "A.S. PERA – Athletic Journey from Constantinople to Athens IV" reflects the club's long-standing legacy in the sports community.
The competition will include both competitive and mini-categories, catering to young swimmers aged 8 to 12 years. The opening ceremony is set for March 21 at 12:30 PM, where athletes will also parade, showcasing the widespread engagement and enthusiasm surrounding the event. Participants from various regions are expected to contribute to a vibrant atmosphere, celebrating both the history and future of swimming in the region.
