In a shocking incident in Ghaziabad, India, a bank manager named Abhishek Sharma was murdered by a guard, Ravindra Hooda, over a long-standing dispute regarding the managerโ€™s refusal to grant leave. The incident took place at around 1:45 PM on a Monday at the Punjab and Sind Bank in the Balram Nagar area. Amidst ongoing arguments regarding leave, Ravindra shot Abhishek in the chest inside the bank premises. Locals reported the sound of gunfire, which led to panic among bank customers and pedestrians.

After the shooting, Abhishek was rushed to the hospital on a bike, but was pronounced dead upon arrival by medical staff. The accused, Ravindra Hooda, fled the scene brandishing his weapon, instilling fear among onlookers. The police are actively searching for Ravindra, who resides in Bagpat, as the area continues to reel from the shock of this violent act.

Assistant Commissioner of Police, Gyan Prakash Rai, stated that the fatal incident stemmed from a heated argument between the two, which escalated to gunfire. This tragic event highlights issues of workplace violence and stress in banking institutions, particularly in regions where management dynamics can lead to dangerous confrontations.
