Toomas Luhats is going to lead TV3
Toomas Luhats will take over the leadership of TV3 Group in Estonia, starting April 1.
Toomas Luhats, a member of the management board of Eesti Rahvusringhääling (ERR), is set to lead TV3 Group starting April 1. This group owns several popular media channels in Estonia, including TV3 and TV6, as well as radio stations like Star FM and Power Hit Radio. Luhats expressed his gratitude for his time at ERR, stating that the work and the people there are valuable, making the decision to leave a significant one.
Luhats has been part of ERR since June 1, 2022, where he played a key role in developing the streaming platform Jupiter. He mentioned that he had initially planned to move on sooner but felt committed to ensuring the platform's success before making the transition. His upcoming departure marks a notable shift in the leadership of one of Estonia's major media groups, highlighting his contribution to the growth of digital media within the country.
