Long-term forecast for Poland. A change is coming. The forecaster reveals the cards
The weather in Poland is expected to shift from warm spring-like conditions to cooler temperatures due to a change in air circulation across Europe.
Poland's weather has felt spring-like over the recent weekend, but a meteorological shift is anticipated as cooler air from the north will replace the warm air that characterized the first half of the month. According to forecaster Tomasz Wasilewski, this change will begin immediately after the weekend, with air coming from the northwest followed by cold and dry air from the east due to the strengthening of a Russian-Scandinavian high pressure system.
Wasilewski highlighted that the long-term temperature forecast for the next 16 days indicates that temperatures will range from a maximum of 10-12 degrees Celsius during the current week, dropping to as low as 5-6 degrees in the northern and eastern regions of the country. This noticeable drop in temperatures may have implications for local agriculture, flora, and personal behavior as people adjust to the unexpectedly cooler conditions.
As Poland approaches Easter, residents can expect a continuation of these cooler temperatures, which will affect holiday plans. The shift in weather patterns, driven by northern air masses, encapsulates a broader trend across Europe where fluctuating weather systems are becoming more common, highlighting the complexity of current climate patterns and their local manifestations.
