Long-Term Forecast for Poland. That’s When the Turn Will Happen. Meteorologists Reveal Their Cards
Polish meteorologists predict a brief arrival of spring-like weather, followed by a significant shift to gloomier conditions.
The latest forecast by the Institute of Meteorology and Water Management indicates that Poland will experience a brief period of spring-like temperatures over the next few days. On Tuesday, most of the country will see maximum temperatures ranging from 13 to 16 degrees Celsius, although areas such as Suwałki and parts of the Carpathians might be cooler, registering around 12 degrees, while the Hel Peninsula could only reach about 10 degrees. The warmer conditions are expected to linger through Wednesday, with temperatures reaching upwards of 18 degrees in some regions.
However, the pleasant weather is not expected to last long. By mid-week, changes in the weather patterns will start to occur, shifting towards overcast skies. Rain is anticipated in the southern, western, and Pomerania regions, with possible thunderstorms and gusty winds in the west. These weather changes will mark the end of the warm spell, as temperatures will begin to drop, especially in the northern and eastern parts of the country.
This transition from warm to more unstable weather underscores the volatility of spring climates in Poland. With meteorologists revealing their forecasts, it highlights the importance of preparing for rapidly changing conditions as the weather turns from mild spring into the unpredictability typical of the season, which can include a mix of rain and storms.
