Apollo plans to open over a hundred restaurants

The Apollo Group, the largest entertainment and restaurant business in the Baltic states, plans to open over one hundred restaurants in the Baltics and Finland in the coming years, aiming to nearly double its locations and increase revenue.

The Apollo Group, a major player in the entertainment and restaurant industry in the Baltic region, has announced ambitious plans to open over one hundred new restaurants across the Baltics and Finland in the upcoming years. This expansion is aimed at consolidating its position as the largest restaurant chain in the area, with plans to nearly double the number of its locations. CEO Toomas Tiivel stated that they are expecting to increase the company's revenue to half a billion euros as part of this growth strategy.

In a move to accelerate this expansion and enhance financial independence, Apollo Group is considering going public to attract additional investment. Tiivel highlighted that around a quarter of this growth could stem from new restaurant concepts, while also introducing existing brands to new markets. Notably, Tiivel mentioned the potential of one of the Baltic's food industry success stories, Lido, which could expand its operations into more markets, with plans to establish a powerful central kitchen in Riga to support this.

To provide a comprehensive dining experience for customers, Apollo is also exploring opportunities in dessert and coffee offerings, reflecting a holistic approach to its restaurant services. Overall, these developments indicate not only a significant growth trajectory for Apollo Group but also an increasing competition in the food service sector within the Baltic region as new brands are introduced to the market.
