Coffee Island is participating in the 'Women Say NO 2 Violence' program, contributing by joining the Safe Places network aimed at supporting women who are victims of violence.

Coffee Island has announced its support for the initiative 'Women Say NO 2 Violence' by joining the Safe Places network, which seeks to raise awareness about violence against women and establish support points within the community. Currently, 22 Coffee Island locations across Greece participate as Safe Places, offering a secure environment for women in need of assistance. Over the next two months, an additional 18 locations are expected to join this important initiative.

The program aims to enhance public awareness regarding the issue of violence against women and to provide refuge points that can be accessed in everyday life. The employees of participating Coffee Island stores have received specialized training to guide women towards the appropriate support services available. This proactive approach highlights the coffee chain's commitment to societal issues and its role in fostering a safer environment for women in the community.

Venia Raptis, the Communications & Digital Marketing Manager of Coffee Island, expressed the company's dedication during an informative session held at the store in Stadiou, which included journalists and members of the Greek Association of Women in Culture and Tourism. This collaborative effort not only emphasizes the importance of community support but also encourages other businesses to consider joining the cause to combat violence against women effectively.
