CBSE is giving these female students a chance for scholarships, check details quickly
The CBSE has started the online application process for the Single Girl Child Scholarship to support female students in their education.
The Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE) has initiated the online application process for the Single Girl Child Scholarship, enabling students and their parents to apply through the official CBSE website. This scholarship is available not only for new applicants but also for previous students who wish to renew their applications. Eligible candidates are those female students who have completed their 10th-grade examinations and are the only child of their parents, receiving a financial aid of 1,000 rupees per month to support their further education.
This initiative by CBSE addresses the financial constraints that often hinder girls from continuing their education. By providing monthly assistance, the board aims to encourage more female students to pursue and complete their studies, thereby promoting gender equality in education. This step highlights the board's commitment to ensuring that financial challenges do not prevent talented girls from reaching their academic potential.
To qualify for the scholarship, students must score a minimum of 70% in their 10th-grade board examinations and must enroll in an 11th-grade program at a CBSE-affiliated school. With school fees set at 2,500 rupees per month for the 10th grade and 3,000 rupees per month for the 11th and 12th grades, the scholarship is a critical support mechanism for eligible students aiming to continue their education without financial burdens.
