Weather: Temperature drop and winds up to 8 Beaufort – Where rains and storms will hit
Today, Greece will experience unstable weather with light rain in most areas and winds reaching up to 8 Beaufort mainly in the Ionian region.

Increased cloudiness with local rainfall is expected in the Ionian and western mainland regions, where isolated thunderstorms may also develop. In the rest of the country, sunny intervals will alternate with clouds, which are likely to thicken in the mountainous areas during the afternoon, bringing brief showers in some places.
According to meteorologist Yiannis Kallianos from Mega, the temperature will reach around 20 degrees Celsius, with winds blowing between 2 to 8 Beaufort. In Attica, the weather will be fair with temperatures ranging from 6 to 18 degrees Celsius and winds at 2 to 5 Beaufort. Similarly, Thessaloniki will experience temperatures between 5 to 16 degrees Celsius, with winds ranging from 2 to 4 Beaufort.
In the coming days, on Tuesday, March 17, few clouds are expected in Eastern Macedonia, Thrace, the islands of the Eastern Aegean, and the Dodecanese, which will gradually increase in places. This forecast highlights the variability in weather patterns across Greece, indicating that changes in temperature and wind speed can significantly impact local weather conditions and activities, as well as the need for residents to stay informed about potential weather disruptions in their regions.
