Dennis Otiotio-Odoni, the chairman of the All Progressives Congress (APC) in Bayelsa State, has addressed concerns from some party members who feel marginalized within the current political landscape. In an interview, he argued that such feelings are misplaced and attributed the significance of political influence to one’s relevance and active participation at the grassroots level. He emphasized that those engaged in their political duties would naturally have a voice and a role in decision-making processes. Otiotio-Odoni also dismissed claims that the opposition party, the African Democratic Congress (ADC), poses a significant threat, stating that their impact appears to be limited to social media amidst a politically cohesive environment.
