A tragic incident occurred on the morning of Sunday, September 15, when a man died after suffering a sudden health issue aboard a boat at Ilha do Campeche in Florianópolis. Witnesses reported that shortly after feeling unwell, the man fell and hit his head. Emergency services, including the Military Fire Department, arrived promptly, but the man was already unresponsive at the time of their arrival.

Lifeguards on the scene quickly initiated resuscitation efforts, and the Águia aircraft was dispatched to assist. Emergency medical personnel tried several maneuvers using a defibrillator and medication in an attempt to revive the man. Despite these valiant efforts, he could not be saved and was pronounced dead at the location by the medical team from the helicopter.
