Iraqi armed factions have become significantly involved in the ongoing conflict against American forces supporting Israel, conducting regular drone and missile attacks against military bases in Iraq.
Since the onset of the US-Israeli war against Iran, several Iraqi armed factions have emerged as key players, engaging in military operations that have resulted in almost half of the total American military casualties in recent weeks. These factions have publicly claimed responsibility for daily attacks using drones and missiles against American bases, notably the Erbil airport, while also targeting US interests both inside and outside of Iraq, transforming the Iraqi arena into a critical battleground.
