During a press conference held on March 15, 2026, Chief Election Commissioner Gyanesh Kumar provided crucial details about the election schedules and preparations. Voting in Assam, Kerala, and Puducherry is set for April 9, while the Tamil Nadu elections will take place on April 23. In West Bengal, the voting will occur in two phases on April 23 and April 29. The results for all these elections will be announced together on May 4, 2026.
