Film Awards Will Feature Japanese Cuisine, Guests Will Enjoy Sushi and Chocolate Oscars

This year's Oscar ceremony will showcase Japanese cuisine, with renowned chef Wolfgang Puck catering for over 1500 attendees.

Japanese cuisine will take center stage at the upcoming Oscar awards ceremony, showcasing the culinary traditions of Japan through a lavish reception. Celebrity chef Wolfgang Puck, known for his exquisite culinary skills, will prepare a variety of dishes for more than 1500 prominent figures from the film industry. This event will take place in Los Angeles, marking a distinctive highlight of this year's 98th Academy Awards.

Puck, along with his son Byron Lazaroff-Puck, plans to feature a range of delicacies, including steak fries made from premium wagyu beef sourced from Miyazaki prefecture in southwestern Japan. This will be Puck's first time presenting nigiri sushi made from this high-quality beef, emphasizing its worldwide reputation as the finest. He commented on the exceptional quality of Miyazaki beef, which reflects his commitment to excellence in culinary offerings at major events.

The event will be attended by over 100 chefs from Puck's team, who will serve more than 70 dishes from international cuisine. The team will utilize nearly 160 kilograms of beef, hundreds of kilograms of seafood, and sushi, and will provide 2000 chocolate mini Oscars as keepsakes for guests. This combination of gourmet cuisine and the glitz of the Oscars promises to create a memorable culinary experience, highlighting both the art of film and the art of fine dining.
