In the early hours of Sunday, October 15, a security guard named Antônio Manoel da Silva Filho, 60, was fatally shot during a robbery at a construction site in the Gramame neighborhood of João Pessoa. According to the Civil Police, seven men invaded the site with the intention of stealing the guard's firearm. Tragically, the guard was shot twice in the abdomen and died at the scene.
