The Ukrainian team will boycott the closing ceremony of the Milan and Cortina Winter Paralympic Games in response to the participation of athletes from ten aggressor countries.
The Ukrainian Paralympic Committee announced that its athletes would not participate in the closing ceremony of the Winter Paralympic Games in Milan and Cortina. This decision comes in solidarity with Ukraine and as a protest against the International Paralympic Committee (IPC) and International Ski Federation (FIS) allowing athletes from aggressor nations to compete in the games. The closing ceremony is scheduled for Sunday, and it follows a similar boycott by Ukraine, Latvia, and other countries during the opening ceremony.
