A tragic incident occurred at a 12-story apartment building in Songhyeon-dong, Incheon, where a worker in his 70s fell from the rooftop while performing welding work on a lightning rod. According to the Incheon Fire Department, the accident happened at approximately 10:50 AM on the 14th, and despite being rushed to the hospital in a state of cardiac arrest, the worker was pronounced dead shortly after arrival.

Emergency responders quickly arrived on the scene but unfortunately could not save the individual. The worker, identified only as Mr. A, was reportedly following normal procedures for lightning rod installation when the accident happened. Authorities have not yet determined the cause of the fall and are currently investigating whether safety protocols were adhered to during the task.
