Light to moderate rainfall along with thunderstorms and strong winds at speeds ranging from 30-40 km/h are anticipated throughout the day. The Palam region recorded rainfall early in the morning as well.

The maximum temperature in Delhi is predicted to range between 29°C to 31°C, while the minimum temperature is expected to be between 17°C to 19°C. Continued cloud cover is likely on March 16 as well, suggesting an extended period of unsettled weather. The forecast indicates conditions conducive for possible thunderstorms and rainfall, which may impact outdoor activities in the region.

Beyond Delhi-NCR, the IMD has also alert issued for rain in Punjab, Haryana, and Chandigarh from March 15 to 19, with similar weather expected in Jammu & Kashmir, Ladakh, Himachal Pradesh, and Uttarakhand. Other areas in Uttar Pradesh and Rajasthan are also likely to experience light rain along with possible thunderstorms during this period, highlighting a significant weather pattern affecting large parts of northern India in the coming days.
