A man was arrested in the morning of Saturday, April 14, during a joint operation by the Military Police and Civil Police in the Ponte Seca neighborhood of Aperibé, located in the Noroeste Fluminense region of Brazil. Law enforcement officials discovered a revolver hidden inside the toilet tank of the suspect's home. This discovery occurred while the police were executing a search warrant as part of an investigation into reports of domestic violence, whereby the man is suspected to have assaulted and threatened his ex-partner.

According to the communication section of the 36th Military Police Battalion, officers from the PATAMO of the 1st Company assisted the Civil Police in the search operation. The police operation was prompted by a previous domestic violence incident reported at the local police station, pointing towards a concerning pattern of abusive behavior by the suspect. During the search, in addition to the weapon found, police also collected other items that could be linked to the case.
