A man was apprehended in the Elesbão neighborhood of Amapá after allegedly assaulting and threatening his partner with death following a confrontation that stemmed from jealousy. The victim, a 27-year-old woman, reported the incident to the local police department, describing that the assault took place early in the morning after a dispute. The man reportedly struck her in the face, pulled her hair, and attempted to strangle her, resulting in visible injuries to her neck, face, arms, and legs. He also made verbal threats, asserting that if she could not be with him, she would not be with anyone else.

The case was addressed by the Delegate Katiuscia Silva Pinheiro, who emphasized the significance of the investigation conducted by the Delegacia de Crimes Contra a Mulher (Deam).
