Falls in the center and Eilat due to launches from Iran, 12-year-old injured medium
Iranian missiles caused damage across several locations in Israel, including Eilat and Nes Tzion, with one 12-year-old sustaining moderate injuries.
Iranian missile strikes have resulted in damage in multiple locations across Israel today, including Nes Ziona, Eilat, and Jerusalem. The Israeli military suspects that the missile aimed at Eilat carried cluster munitions, mirroring the situation with another missile targeting the central region. In Eilat, a 12-year-old boy suffered moderate injuries while a 39-year-old man was lightly injured. Additionally, debris from anti-missile interceptions struck two houses in the city.
In Nes Ziona, a house was completely destroyed due to the missile strike, showcasing the heavy toll that such attacks have on civilian infrastructure. A local resident, Shlomit, recounted her terrifying experience during the air raid sirens, explaining how she was caught at a friend's home and couldn’t make it to a protected area in time. "I ran toward the street and suddenly saw a huge explosion," she described, stating that she fainted due to the shock. A taxi driver helped her regain consciousness, and she expressed disbelief that she survived the incident.
The mayor of Nes Ziona, Shmuel Buxxer, confirmed that the residents of the damaged house were in protected spaces during the attack, indicating the effectiveness of safety measures in place despite the tragic circumstances. He also noted that the building was an old structure built in 1950, further raising concerns about the resilience of older buildings against modern artillery.
