Kim Eun-ji, ranked number one in women's Go in South Korea, has made a significant achievement by advancing to the finals of the Senko Cup after competing against Ueno Asami from Japan in the semifinals on the 14th of October. Kim won the match, which took place in Tokyo, with a black stone victory after 253 moves. This marks Kim's debut in the Senko Cup, where she has surpassed expectations by reaching the final round. She is set to compete for a grand prize of 10 million yen against Japan's Fujiwara Rina, who also won her semifinal match against Zhou Hongyu from China.
