Bright opening of the 'sea festival'
The 'Boat & Fishing Show' was inaugurated in Paiania, Greece, emphasizing the country's longstanding relationship with the sea and attracting various officials and exhibitors.
The 'Boat & Fishing Show' opened its doors yesterday at MEC Paiania, marking its 11th edition with a celebration reflective of Greece's historic connection to the sea. The event saw the participation of two deputy ministers and drew a large crowd of exhibitors and attendees eager to explore a range of maritime activities.
During the exhibition, which runs until March 15, visitors will have the opportunity to witness boat premieres, marine equipment displays, fishing gear, and products related to marine recreation and tourism. The inauguration was marked by a ribbon-cutting ceremony attended by notable officials including the Deputy Minister of Shipping and Island Policy, Stefanos Gikas, and the Deputy Minister of Health, Marios Themistocleous, alongside exhibitors Antonis Ioanas and Georgios Polychroniou.
The Ministry of Shipping and Island Policy highlighted its commitment to developing infrastructure that supports the growth of maritime tourism in Greece.
