A tragic incident has emerged from the Chowk area of Lucknow, where the death of a five-year-old boy named Arnav has sparked outrage among the local community. Family members accuse the child's stepmother of brutally beating him to death, while serious allegations have also been leveled against the father, Bisham Kharbanda, who is a lawyer by profession. Reports indicate that Arnav's biological mother had passed away earlier, after which he had been living with his maternal grandparents for an extended period. About five months ago, under a court order, custody of Arnav was granted to his father, and since then, he had been residing with his father and stepmother, Ragini Kharbanda, in the Lajpat Nagar area of Chowk. Family members have alleged that the stepmother frequently abused the child, and on the day of the incident, she allegedly beat Arnav severely, leading to his deteriorating condition and eventual death.
