The theater troupe "Kvadrifrons" will present a performance titled "Brown Cheese", inspired by Norwegian author Erlend Loe, which revolves around a detective story featuring a national delicacy.

On March 14, audiences at 10:15 AM will have the opportunity to see the play "Brown Cheese" by the theater troupe "Kvadrifrons", based on the work of Norwegian writer Erlend Loe. This witty tale transforms into an intriguing detective story centered around Norway’s national pride – brown cheese, where a criminal has set his sights on this special delicacy.

In the performance, actors Ance Strazda, Jānis Kronis, and Āris Matesovičs take on various roles, skillfully changing their voices and costumes to bring the characters to life. The story unfolds as a charming afternoon sees the protagonist, Līsena fon Kvantuma, receiving an invitation from Her Majesty to bring the world’s best brown cheese to the royal castle, complete with a train ticket for her journey in a sleeping compartment.

However, the plot thickens when Līsena falls asleep and awakens to find that someone has invaded her personal space and has sat on the precious brown cheese. This situation calls for the best detective in the world – Detective Flufenberg. The play promises a mix of humor and excitement, aiming to engage young audiences with its creative narrative and captivating themes surrounding national delicacies.
