In Finland, the average amount of consumer loans applied for has reached record highs, according to a report from loan comparison platform Sortter.
As of late February, Finnish citizens have significantly increased their demand for consumer loans, with average amounts surpassing previous records. According to Sortter, a loan comparison platform, the average loan amount requested by individuals is now €15,300, up from €14,800 at the same time last year. Especially those earning over €4,000 a month are seeking even larger sums, averaging over €23,000. This increase highlights a growing trend among consumers to seek larger loans as personal income levels appear to rise.
