The Iyaloja General Movement organized a prayer session in Lagos on Thursday, aimed at securing victory for President Bola Tinubu during the upcoming 2027 general election. The event showcased a strong show of support, attracting traditional rulers, Islamic scholars, market leaders, political stakeholders, and community members, all aligned with the All Progressives Congress. This initiative highlights the mobilization of community leaders and influencers in backing Tinubu's political aspirations.

The prayer session coincided with the ninth Annual Ramadan Lecture, an event that not only included the special prayers but also featured the distribution of palliative support for the community. Key royal figures in attendance included prominent traditional rulers such as the Olu of Agege. The gathering reflects the communal and religious dimensions often interwoven in Nigerian politics, especially during significant periods like Ramadan.

Mutiullahi Oladeebo, the group's coordinator, emphasized that this event exemplifies their commitment to supporting Tinubu's re-election bid.
