2027: Obasa, Ambode rally support for Tinubu’s reelection
Nigerian political leaders Mudashiru Obasa and Akinwunmi Ambode have urged citizens to support President Bola Tinubu's reelection in 2027 during a prayer session commemorating his birthday.
In a recent interfaith prayer session held in Ikeja, Lagos, the Speaker of the Lagos State House of Assembly, Mudashiru Obasa, along with former Governor Akinwunmi Ambode, have called for increased support for President Bola Tinubu as he vies for re-election in 2027. The event, organized by The Mandate Movement, coincided with President Tinubu's 74th birthday, emphasizing the importance of his ongoing reforms and economic policies in promoting national development.
Obasa articulated that the continuation of Tinubu's leadership beyond 2027 is essential for the consolidation of the achievements made under his administration, particularly through the Renewed Hope Agenda. He highlighted that the successes of Tinubu's policies position him favorably for a second term, arguing that stable governance and continued reform are crucial for Nigeria's progress.
The prayer session aimed not only to seek divine guidance for Tinubu’s leadership but also to invoke blessings for peace, unity, stability, and security in Nigeria. Obasa spoke on the demonstrations of leadership by Tinubu, suggesting that a second term would enable further strides in developmental initiatives crucial for the country’s growth and recovery from past challenges.
