Cia Truks premieres children's theater season at Viradalata in SP
Cia Truks is set to present a season of children's theater at the Viradalata Theater in São Paulo starting March 14 until April 25, featuring seven different performances.
Cia Truks returns to São Paulo after a five-year hiatus, celebrating its 36th anniversary with a series of seven children's plays at the Viradalata Theater. The performances kick off on Saturday, March 14, and will run until April 25, with shows scheduled every weekend at 3 PM. The ticket prices are set at R$ 70 for regular admission and R$ 35 for half-price tickets, available through the Sympla platform.
The opening show is titled "O Senhor dos Sonhos," scheduled for the weekend of March 14-15, and tells the story of a boy named Lucas who navigates his own fantasies while trying to blend in with societal norms. Following this, the next performance, "Isso é Coisa de Criança," takes place on March 21 and showcases a colorful array of objects and ideas generated by children from the São Paulo municipal shelters, such as a ballet of fish in shoes and a teapot that produces juice from imagination.
On the weekends of March 28 and 29, the play "Sonhatório" will feature three eccentric characters who explore the whimsical world of dreams and creativity. This season not only marks the group's return to the stage but also emphasizes the importance of engaging children in the arts and the creative process, highlighting their imaginative capabilities through interactive and entertaining performances.
