The National Institute of Meteorology (Inmet) has issued a yellow alert for potential severe rain on Friday, March 13, affecting surrounding cities such as Cosmópolis, Limeira, Engenheiro Coelho, and Cordeirópolis. The alert indicates possible rainfall of 20 to 30 mm per hour, reaching up to 50 mm per day, along with winds blowing between 40 and 60 km/h. Residents are warned of the low risk of power outages, falling tree branches, flooding, and lightning strikes.
