Convicted for large-scale cocaine sales – seized millions

Three men have been sentenced to prison for distributing extensive amounts of cocaine in Bergen, Norway, following a police investigation that revealed a considerable drug network.

In 2025, Norwegian police uncovered a significant drug network in Gyldenpris, Bergen, leading to the conviction of three men for the distribution of several dozen kilograms of cocaine. This extensive investigation revealed how these individuals managed to operate a comprehensive narcotic distribution operation in the district. As part of the proceedings, the Hordaland District Court sentenced all three men to several years in prison, with two receiving a reduced sentence due to partial confessions.

The initial suspicions regarding widespread drug trafficking into Norway began in autumn 2024 when Kripos, the national criminal investigation service, stopped a vehicle at the Svinesund border. Inside the car, they discovered a hidden compartment containing seven kilograms of cocaine. Further digital traces led law enforcement to a 28-year-old man who was identified as the mastermind behind the operation. Following this lead, police action in Bergen revealed a substantial stash of narcotics, cash, vacuum packing machines, and ammunition in an apartment that served as the main storage for their activities.

The primary defendant received a sentence of eight and a half years, while the other two were sentenced to just over six years each. This case highlights the ongoing battle against drug trafficking in Norway, as law enforcement continues to dismantle organized narcotic networks operating within the country, thereby reinforcing the seriousness with which these offenses are treated by the judicial system.
