Pajari achieved the best times in several special stages, including the final stage; however, his performance was marred by a 20-second penalty for arriving late at a service check. Despite this setback, he maintained a strong position, standing fourth, just a minute and 10 seconds behind the race leader, Oliver Solberg.
In his post-race analysis, Pajari expressed enjoyment of the day, acknowledging that the conditions were challenging but stated he aimed to drive smartly through areas with the highest risk of damaging the car or tires. Pajari's performance was the highlight of the day, as he consistently produced strong results across various stages of the rally, showcasing his skill and control.
Oliver Solberg began the day with a 33-second lead but saw that margin reduced as Sébastien Ogier also performed strongly throughout the day. The competition remains fierce as Pajari continues to close the gap, setting the stage for an exciting continuation of the rally.
