Rapolas Micevičius, a Lithuanian athlete competing in the LL2 disability class, concluded his Paralympic journey by securing 13th place in the slalom event. After his first run, Micevičius achieved a time of 1:00.10, standing just 5 seconds behind the winner, Italian Emanuel Perathoner, who claimed gold with a time of 55.10 seconds. The event saw fierce competition, with Swiss athlete Fabrice von Gruenigen finishing second and Australian Ben Tudhope in third.

In the second run, Micevičius finished even closer to the leaderboard with a time of 1:00.59, but dropped to 15th place. Perathoner again showcased his speed, completing the course in 54.28 seconds, with von Gruenigen and Tudhope following closely. The top three athletes from this run went on to earn medals, emphasizing the caliber of competition at the event.

Reflecting on his performance, Micevičius acknowledged the absence of pressure, knowing slalom was not his strongest event.
