Rildjane and Roseane Alves, sisters aged 46 and 39, respectively, have taken on the challenge of rebuilding their family-run snack business, RR Salgados, which was devastated by a fire in the Centenário neighborhood of Boa Vista. Even though their factory was reduced to ashes, they have shown determination, starting production again from a temporary space in their home. Previously, the factory sold around 200 hundred snacks weekly, with a monthly revenue averaging R$ 42,000, involving a workforce of 12 people, including family members and staff.

The sisters' outlook remains positive despite the disaster, showcasing their belief in resilience and the importance of their business not just for themselves but for the families of their employees who rely on their income. They resumed production on a Wednesday, emphasizing that they have faith in their capability to overcome this setback.
