The Court of Accounts of the Federal District (TCDF) has given the Institute of Strategic Health Management of the Federal District (Iges) a deadline of 15 days to respond regarding hospital equipment that has been idle at UPA Ceilândia II since 2023. This situation involves essential medical devices such as ventilators and cardiac monitors, which are critical for patient care. Despite repeated attempts to reach Iges for comment, no response was received, raising concerns over transparency and accountability in the management of health resources.
