The leader of Felleskjøpet has been relieved of work duties pending an investigation into his purchase and sale of Yara shares, which he failed to disclose while overseeing the company's fertilizer sales.
The leader of Felleskjøpet, a significant agricultural cooperative in Norway, has been relieved of his work duties as an investigation unfolds regarding his undisclosed transactions involving shares of Yara, a major player in the fertilizer industry. This activity reportedly took place between 2021 and 2025, and he owned shares worth about 395,000 Norwegian kroner until July 2025. The company’s CEO, Svenn Ivar Fure, stated that he was unaware of these shareholdings and emphasized that the matter pertains solely to a violation of their ethical regulations, which is considered serious.
