Almost half of Brazil's individual micro-entrepreneurs are considering transitioning to the status of micro or small businesses according to a survey by Sebrae and FGV.
A recent Economic Survey conducted by Sebrae in partnership with Fundação Getúlio Vargas has revealed that 45% of individual micro-entrepreneurs (MEI) in Brazil are contemplating upgrading to micro or small business status. The study showed that 25% of respondents express a definitive interest in making the change, while another 20.5% are considering it. This inclination indicates a significant trend among entrepreneurs aiming for growth and increased formalization in their business practices.
