The highest concentrations of these cases were documented in Khartoum, River Nile, El Gezira, and Northern State, highlighting the need for urgent public health interventions. This report was part of a session held by the Federal Emergency Operations Centre in Khartoum, underscoring the escalating health crisis in the country.

In addition to dengue fever, the health ministry's report revealed concerning figures for other infectious diseases, including 54 new cases of hepatitis E reported in El Gezira and 165 cases of measles across states such as White Nile, North Darfur, and West Kordofan.
