This weekend, Seoul will host a series of civic sports events and a marathon, resulting in significant traffic restrictions in the city. On the 14th, the city is organizing the 'Slow Morning Run' at Yeouido Park, which allows citizens to walk, run, and cycle along a 5 km stretch between Yeouido Park and Mapo Street from 7 AM to 9 AM. To facilitate this event, certain lanes of traffic on the Mapo Bridge heading towards Yeouido will be closed from 5 AM to 10 AM, with the opposite side being repurposed for two-way traffic due to increased concerns from citizens about the growing number of marathons in the city.
