With 23 complexes, Cinemark is the best network in its debut category

Cinemark has been recognized as the best cinema network in São Paulo, boasting 23 complexes, far ahead of its competitors.

Cinemark has been awarded as the best cinema network in São Paulo by the jury of Guia, marking the debut of this category in their rankings. With 23 complexes in the city alone, Cinemark significantly surpasses its nearest competitors, Cinépolis and UCI, which only have four complexes each. Originating from the United States, Cinemark has established itself in 16 countries, making Brazil its second-largest market with a total of 88 complexes housing 640 screens.

Despite sharing a consistent visual identity across its complexes, Cinemark acknowledges the need for renovations in some locations. The Aricanduva complex, for example, is noted for requiring more extensive updates, particularly inside its screening rooms. Cinemark is committed to continuous investment in the revitalization of its exhibition spaces, which includes planned improvements like the modernization of the entrance at the Eldorado complex, a new flooring project in Interlagos, and new lighting designs aimed at enhancing the viewer experience.

This recognition of Cinemark as a leading cinema network not only reflects its dominance in São Paulo but also highlights the ongoing investments and modernization efforts that are crucial to remaining competitive in the evolving entertainment market. As cinema consumption continues to adapt post-pandemic, maintaining and upgrading facilities will play a vital role in attracting audiences and retaining their loyalty in a crowded market.
