In Hornachos, Extremadura, Spain, two brothers have been detained after a long investigation into the disappearance of Francisca Cadenas in 2017. The UCO (Central Operative Unit) has confirmed that bone remains found in the brothers' residence belong to Cadenas, who vanished without a trace while living just a short distance away from the suspects. This significant breakthrough came nine years after the initial case, with the brothers, Juli and Lolo, aged 50 and 55, respectively, being brought back to the scene of the crime for further investigation.
