App driver who disappeared after leaving for work is found dead in MT
An app driver named Alisson Meira da Silva, who went missing after leaving for work, has been found dead in Cuiabá, Brazil.
Alisson Meira da Silva, a 32-year-old app driver, was reported missing on Wednesday and was discovered dead on Thursday in the Parque Atalaia neighborhood of Cuiabá, Brazil. Authorities indicated that his death is being investigated, particularly due to the circumstances surrounding it, which included multiple gunshot wounds to his face. Family members disclosed that Alisson had been receiving threats before his disappearance.
Upon his disappearance, police traced the last known location to Parque Atalaia, where Alisson was subsequently found deceased. His vehicle was located shortly thereafter on Avenida Contorno Leste, near the Emanuel Pinheiro highway. The police were able to contact his family using information obtained from the car, leading them to identify Alisson's body.
Forensic teams conducted an investigation at the crime scene, recovering shell casings for further analysis. The Civil Police are continuing to investigate the incident, with a focus on the threats received by Alisson and the circumstances surrounding his untimely death, which raises concerns about safety for app drivers in the region.
