Raul Lemos da Costa, a 37-year-old app driver, tragically lost his life on Tuesday night (17) in Teresina when he lost control of his motorcycle and crashed into a tree on Avenida Maranhão. The incident occurred near a roundabout, and it was reported that he first struck the curb before the fatal collision with the tree. Emergency services were called to the scene, and the area was cordoned off by the Traffic Police Battalion (BPTran) for the arrival of investigators and the Legal Medical Institute (IML) to collect his body.

A family member, who wished to remain anonymous, described Raul as a joyful and playful person who brought positivity to those around him. He had been married for 11 years and was a father to two children. His niece highlighted his love for family and friends, mentioning that he was always willing to help others.
