According to the Military Police, the first victim, a 16-year-old, was found with a gunshot wound to the leg after responding to calls about a shooting in the Turmalina neighborhood. This victim described encountering three men dressed in black with green ski masks, who then opened fire on him during a routine crossing of streets.
As the police attended to the scene, they were informed of another shooting victim, a 15-year-old boy who had been with the injured 16-year-old. This young victim suffered a gunshot wound to the arm and recounted how he fled upon seeing the gunmen approaching only to realize later that he too had been shot. Both teenagers were transported to the hospital by the mobile emergency service (Samu) for treatment.
The swift response of the Military Police led to the apprehension of one minor, aged 15, who is now linked to the shooting.
