Vial 10 in La Aurora increases from two to six lanes for 7,000 daily vehicles

The expansion of Vial 10 in La Aurora has increased its lanes from two to six to accommodate 7,000 vehicles daily.

In the parish of La Aurora, located in Daule, the expansion of the Vial 10 roadway has been completed, transforming a 1-kilometer stretch from two lanes to six. This upgrade aims to address the growing demand for mobility in this key area of the Daule canton. The route serves as an essential access point for vehicles traveling to the neighborhoods of Villa Italia and La Rioja, funneling traffic from the León Febres Cordero avenue into various destinations.

The project was funded and executed by the Corporación Inmobiliare Internacional, in collaboration with the La Rioja and Toscana projects in Villa Italia. With the expansion, traffic flow in the area is expected to significantly improve, facilitating smoother movement toward nearby locations. The planned upgrade anticipates an increase in the daily vehicle count passing through the area, projected to rise from 5,000 to 7,000 vehicles.

Key features of the renovation include high-quality asphalt, complete vertical and horizontal signage, five speed bumps, and the installation of six additional streetlights beyond those previously set up. These enhancements are aimed not only at increasing capacity but also at improving safety and visibility for drivers and pedestrians in the zone.
