On the morning of the incident, as the family arrived in their car, the mother exited with one child while Marcos remained inside with three other children. Shortly thereafter, three assailants emerged from a nearby vehicle and opened fire on him, resulting in his immediate death at the scene. Shockingly, one 10-year-old girl sustained injuries from glass shards during the chaos and has since been hospitalized.
