In Campo Grande, Brazil, a 43-year-old man was arrested by the Civil Police for illegally raising farm animals, including pigs, chickens, and ducks, in a residential neighborhood. Neighbors reported the situation due to complaints about the unsanitary conditions and foul odors emanating from the property, which were reportedly disturbing the community. This operation was conducted by the Specialized Delegation for the Repression of Environmental Crimes and Tourist Assistance (Decat). Authorities confiscated 15 chickens, three ducks, and six pigs during the raid and noted that the animal waste was improperly deposited into the sewage system, which raised significant public health concerns. The General Coordination of Forensics was also summoned to assess the environment's condition further.
