Emergency responders from the Corpo de Bombeiros (Fire Department) and Samu were dispatched to the scene to provide assistance and evaluate the individuals involved in the crash.
Upon arrival, the team found that the driver who caused the pileup was receiving medical attention from Samu personnel. He was subsequently taken to a health unit for further evaluation. In addition to the driver, one woman, who was driving another vehicle caught in the pileup, reported neck and calf pain. Following assessment by medical responders, she was transported to the Municipal Hospital for additional care.
