Mother became an obstacle in the illicit relationship between brother-in-law and sister-in-law, son and daughter-in-law committed murder by strangulation

A murder case involving a mother was solved quickly by the Surat Crime Branch, revealing that her son and daughter-in-law were in an illicit relationship, leading to her strangulation and concealment of her body.

In a shocking incident in the Amroli area of Surat, 55-year-old Hamida Khatoon was found dead, wrapped in a sack. The Surat Crime Branch managed to crack the murder case within hours. Investigations revealed that the victim's younger son, Parvez, was involved in an illicit love affair with his sister-in-law, Shabana, who is the wife of his elder brother. Frequent domestic disputes over money and this affair had led to significant family tensions. The victim had raised objections regarding these relations, leading to her own demise.

On March 10, in a premeditated act of violence, Parvez, along with Shabana and her father, Firoz Alam, conspired to murder Hamida Khatoon to eliminate her as an obstacle. They collectively strangled her and concealed her body within their house. The gruesome nature of the crime reflects the intense emotional turmoil and family strife that can arise from illicit relationships and how they can lead to tragic outcomes within families.

Following the murder, the trio disposed of the body by placing it in a sack and abandoning it near a Hanuman temple on March 11. To divert attention, Parvez reported his mother missing, claiming that she had gone out to buy clothes. This heinous act not only highlights the dark side of familial relationships but also raises questions about moral boundaries, ethics, and the perilous consequences that can arise from secretive affairs within families.
