The Defensoria Pública do Maranhão (DPE-MA) has launched an initiative for internships aimed at undergraduate students, with applications open from March 6 to 13. This program aims to create a reserve list of candidates, with scholarships that vary depending on the field of activity, reaching up to R$ 1,614.56. However, the vacancies are limited to municipalities where the Public Defender's Office operates, and candidates must select their preferred location upon application.

The selection process will consist of an online objective test, which will be both eliminatory and classificatory. Only students who are regularly enrolled in higher education courses and meet the eligibility criteria outlined in the call for applications will be allowed to participate. Most positions available are primarily targeted toward law students, but there are also opportunities for students from other fields such as administration, expanding the potential for diverse candidates to apply.

This initiative reflects an ongoing effort by the DPE-MA to provide practical training opportunities for students while also ensuring that the office can continue to meet the demands of its services across the state.
